Your website starts with your domain name.
We register your chosen domain name with a registrar we have known and trusted for 15 years.
We ensure your domain name is registered to you so that it is legally yours and nobody can replicate or steal it.
We ‘point’ the domain to the servers that will host your website and email.
We offer a personal service to safeguard you during the registration process and deal with any problems encountered thereafter.
We charge from 60 Euros for domain name registration and service, the domain name is valid for 2 years.
The second step is to choose a reliable host for your website
We host all our sites on UK servers with a company that has been around almost as long as us. They are ISO 27001:2013 certified. This is an international standards certificate related to Information Security Management.
The hosting company is are one of only a handful of European Adobe Solution Partners and have awards for quality and reliability. In the unlikely event that something breaks they have 24/7 support. We consider them the best.
We spend time with the client to determine the look of the site, what the site is supposed to do and who the site is aimed at. From there we can decide together whether the site should be a content management site, online shop, an HTML site or a fully database driven site plus any additional features, contact forms, blogs, sales modules and more. We can then decide whether or not to go ahead using HTML5, PHP or Coldfusion.
Everything goes quiet for a while now as we put the site together in a test area. The client is asked to examine the site, change images and the look and the feel until we are all happy with the result. In the case of content management and database driven sites the back end administration system is tailored to the clients needs.
After extensive testing the site is moved from its testing area and made live.
Many people, blinded by promises of how easy it is, have started a site and not quite finished it or taken over a site with a business and have no idea how to operate it. We can help. Let us give you a quote.
